Bremer Bank recently donated $10,000 to Grand Forks, N.D.-based nonprofit Red River Valley Community Action.
The donation was one of eight the St. Paul, Minn.-based bank made to nonprofits that signify the bank’s commitment to economic empowerment, affordable housing and financial education in Minnesota, western Wisconsin and North Dakota.
The donation is expected to support Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility upgrades and measures to protect agency clients and staff.
Red River Valley Community Action provides emergency services, housing programs, nutrition programs and more services for low-income individuals, families, senior citizens and others in crisis. Last year, the nonprofit served more than 3,500 people in more than 2,300 households.
