Bremer Bank donates $10K to Latino-led nonprofit

Bremer Bank donates $10,000 to Willmar, Minn.-based nonprofit Comunidades Latinas Unidas en Servicio in honor of the bank’s 80th anniversary.

The donation was one of eight that St. Paul-based Bremer Bank is giving to nonprofits to embody its commitment to economic empowerment, affordable housing and financial education in Minnesota, western Wisconsin and North Dakota.

CLUES is Minnesota’s largest Latino-led nonprofit. The group works to advance social and economic equity and well-being for Latinos in Minnesota. The donation will help CLUES acquire technology for local youth.

“Willmar has been an important, longstanding part of our eight-decade story,” said Jeanne Crain, president and CEO of $16 billion Bremer Bank. “CLUES does critical work in this community, and we are honored for the opportunity to support its work through this donation as we further Bremer’s 80-year legacy, established by our founder Otto Bremer, of cultivating thriving communities.”
