Bridgewater to relocate downtown Minneapolis branch

St. Louis Park, Minn.-based Bridgewater Bank says it remains committed to downtown Minneapolis as it relocates its branch there to a much larger nearby space later this month.

Effective July 17, Bridgewater will move to a 3,200-square-foot center in the skyway at 60 South Sixth St., which was formerly known as RBC Plaza from its current 1,500-square-foot space on Marquette Avenue.

According to the bank, the branch “will be strategically positioned amidst a thriving community of professional tenants dedicated to the success of downtown Minneapolis.”

President and CEO Jerry Baack said the $4.6 billion bank’s “confidence in downtown’s future remains strong, and our new branch reflects our commitment to serving as a reliable banking partner to local clients, entrepreneurs and the greater business community.”
