CBI Bank & Trust names president

Muscatine, Iowa-based CBI Bank & Trust hired Dwayne Sieck as president. He will succeed Greg Kistler, president and CEO of Central Bancshares and subsidiary CBI Bank & Trust, after he retires on Dec. 31.

Sieck has spent 26 years in the financial services industry, focusing on banking, investments and commercial real estate. In 2021, he founded Omaha-based real estate investment firm Farnam Street Real Estate Capital. He also served as the president and chief operating officer of the Mutual of Omaha Bank.

Sieck has a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, and graduated from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking program at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He served on the faculty at the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking for the past two academic years.
