The donation assists United Way organizations throughout Centier’s neighboring 11 county-region in northwest Indiana. One-in-three regional households struggle meeting basic needs such as child care, housing, food and transportation.

“United Way of Northwest Indiana values our partnership with Centier, and this generous gift will go a long way in helping us accomplish this,” said United Way of Northwest Indiana President and CEO Adam O’Doherty. “Truly, it is only when the whole community works together, that we can harness the power of caring to make every life better — today and tomorrow.”

Centier board member Anthony Contrucci said the bank’s service-centered culture “drives our purpose to enrich lives for an even better tomorrow. Our associates enthusiastically participate in this fundraiser and by participating with United Way agencies across our communities all year around and we are proud to contribute to their success.”
