Merrillville, Ind.-based Centier Bank recently opened a 1,900-square-foot branch in Cedar Lake, Ind.
The opening was marked with a ribbon-cutting including bank executives and local officials along with a $500 check presentation to the Hanover Township Trustee Office’s food pantry. Centier Bank broke ground on the branch last June.
The branch will host community events this summer, including farmers markets next month and in late August. “Watching the Cedar Lake community grow over the years has been remarkable, and we’re thrilled to have a branch that can match that growth,” said CEO Michael Schrage. “Being a part of the Cedar Lake community is very special to us, and this new branch symbolizes our investment in the future of Cedar Lake.”
