Centier Bank to open Indianapolis branch

Merrillville, Ind.-based Centier Bank is set to open a branch March 4 in Indianapolis.

The branch will feature two drive-thru lanes, drive-up ATM, night deposit box, a self-service coin machine inside the lobby and three teller stations. The branch will be led by Manager Ann Grace.

The $8.1 billion Centier Bank entered the Greater Indianapolis region 13 years ago by opening a commercial loan production office in Carmel, Ind. The bank later established branches in Carmel, downtown Indianapolis, Fishers, Whitestown, Westfield and Zionsville, Ind.

Centier Bank Board Chair and CEO Michael Schrage said the branch highlights the bank’s commitment to the Indianapolis community. Centier plans to open at least two more branches in the city this year.

“While so many banks are leaving, merging, or abandoning communities altogether, Centier Bank is investing in our clients and in the future of Indianapolis,” Schrage said. “I take immense pride in our Indianapolis market leadership who champions the advantages of community banking in Central Indiana.”
