Sparta, Mich.-based ChoiceOne Bank awarded 13 $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors this year as part of its annual, needs-based program in west and southeast Michigan.
Applications were accepted during the first three months of this year. Students were required to plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college in Michigan this fall, and submit an essay describing one of their community service experiences.

- Miniya Lothschutz of Coopersville High School
- Jessica Lukins of Byron Center High School
- James Oosterhouse of Holland Christian High School
- Brooklyn Pratt and Victoria Wolfe of Armada High School
- Sofia Sandoval of Fruitport High School
