Boscobel, Wis.-based Community First Bank elected Kurt Muchow to its board of directors.
Muchow has more than 40 years of experience at Reedsburg, Wis.-based Vierbicher Associates, Inc., serving as a community development consultant to Wisconsin municipalities. During that time, he was a principal of the firm and chaired the board of directors. A Certified Economic Development Finance Professional, Muchow has associate degrees in civil engineering and natural resources.
“Kurt’s leadership skills and extensive knowledge and experience will be a great asset to the bank and our markets,” said President and CEO Dan Klahn. “He has helped communities throughout the bank’s footprint with planning and implementation of community development programs. We’re particularly impressed with his acumen in economic development, housing, capital improvements planning, grant writing, and tax incremental financing.”
