Ankeny, Iowa-based Community State Bank appointed Brian Hannah as president.
Hannah was previously the commercial sales manager at Des Moines-based Bankers Trust. He has 15 years of experience in relationship development and financial analysis with Wells Fargo. Hannah has a bachelor’s degree in finance and management from Iowa State University, Ames.
Kurt Gibson, who was hired by the $1.4 billion bank as CEO and president in 2017, will remain CEO. “The addition of Brian to our organization’s leadership strengthens our ability to concentrate on the most critical priorities for our employees, clients and community,” Gibson said. “He possesses the vision, drive, and skillset to continue our growth pattern and transform our bank for the future.”
