Mergers in Kansas, Indiana, branch acquisitions in Iowa

      Hoisington National Bank of Hoisington, Kan., has completed a merger into Wilson State Bank in Wilson, Kan. Hoisington’s sole office held $21 million in assets. The deal gives Wilson three branches in the state and $64 million in assets.

      Irv Mitchell, Wilson’s president, said Hoisington’s management was eyeing retirement and looking to liquefy the bank while Wilson was interested in expanding.
