Hillsdale, Mich.-based CNB Community Bancorp, Inc., named Joseph Williams president and CEO of the holding company and its $1.1 billion subsidiary, County National Bank.
Williams’ role will be effective in early October. A nearly four-decade banker, Williams was most recently county market president with the $45 billion, Evansville, Ind.-based Old National Bank. He has experience in retail and mortgage banking, commercial credit and other business lines.
Williams spoke highly of the south-central Michigan-based County National Bank. “They understand community banking and I am looking forward to serving alongside a great executive team,” he said. “Our focus will be community impact, employee development, client experience and shareholder return. I am honored and humbled to be part of a great team and build upon the tremendous foundation that has been developed.”
