Dacotah Bank donates $25K for playground renovation

Aberdeen, S.D.-based Dacotah Bank donated $25,000 to Jefferson Elementary School PTO in Valley City, N.D., for playground renovation work.

The project, which began through conversations that started a year ago, has reportedly gained support ever since. The playground is expected to serve children from both Jefferson Elementary and the broader community. The PTO is targeting a completion date this summer.

Dacotah Bank Valley City Market President Tyler Marthaler said the donation is part of the longstanding support the $4 billion bank has provided to the communities it serves. “We are excited to be part of a project that will benefit children in Valley City for many years to come,” he said.
