Aberdeen, S.D.-based Dacotah Bank recently expanded to the Twin Cities by opening a corporate banking division in downtown Minneapolis.
The branch is Dacotah Bank’s second in Minnesota. The $3.6 billion bank opened its first in-state branch a decade ago by acquiring Morris, Minn.-based United Farmers & Merchants State Bank. Minneapolis is the third city Dacotah Bank has expanded to in the last 13 months, joining Fargo, N.D., and Bismarck, N.D.
Dacotah Bank hired seasoned local banker Todd Senger as senior vice president of corporate banking in Minneapolis. Senger’s father, Joe Senger, was president and CEO of the bank from 2014-20, and continues to work with the company as part of its expansion. Other recent corporate banker hires include Phil Krump as market executive; Sean Ball, Blair Madsen and Daniel Schrader as managing directors; Kirk Pauley and Laura Senger as directors; and Chris Mulder as associate director.
