Eyeing expansion, InBank names new president

Bo Scott

Denver-based InBank named Bo Scott president and chief commercial banking officer as the bank plans to expand in its home state.

Scott has more than 25 years of financial experience. He most recently served as executive vice president at Kansas City, Mo.-based UMB Bank, where he led the $40.3 billion institution’s Colorado commercial bank. Scott has also managed multiple West Coast markets for the emerging markets division of Minneapolis-based US Bank as a senior vice president.

Scott’s hiring comes as InBank plans to increase its presence along the Interstate 25 corridor from northern Colorado through the Denver Metro to Colorado Springs.

Former President Ed Francis is expected to continue to serve as chair and CEO of both the $1.3 billion InBank and holding company InBankshares, Corp. “It is an honor to welcome Bo to our executive leadership team and we look forward to quickly integrating his leadership and deep experience in commercial banking into the InBank team,” Francis said. “We are confident Bo will help us accelerate our organic growth. His acumen for attracting top talent and his deep experience in commercial and industrial lending will afford us new opportunities to open doors for new clients and talented bankers.”
