First International Bank & Trust will soon begin its eighth annual Live First Community Giving Campaign.
The Watford City, N.D.-based bank encourages charitable and community organizations to apply for up to $43,000 in awards. The awards are open to organizations benefiting the communities served by FIBT, including nonprofits, community groups, classroom initiatives, and others. Campaign applications will be available from March 30-April 14.
The grand prize winner will receive a $15,000 grant. Also, the bank is awarding up to five $5,000 Rising Star grants to either new nonprofits or existing nonprofits that are undertaking new initiatives across the bank’s footprint. Three grants of $1,000 each will be given based on the most likes on each organization’s original photo on the FIBT Facebook page.
Campaign applications will be available from March 30-April 14.
Since 2014, FIBT has awarded more than $142,000 in community grants to 66 nonprofits and community projects.
