Lakewood, Colo.-based FirstBank recently announced several leadership changes.
The bank named Matt Cornwell president of its downtown Denver Market. Cornwell previously served as president of the Northwest Market. FirstBank named Matthew Doyle president of investments. He previously served as president of loan review.
The bank also promoted four executive vice presidents, including Kristen Bernhardt to Northwest Market president; Derek Longwell to West Market president; Luis Gallardo to president of loan review; and Josie Huelskamp to president of retail and digital banking.
The appointments came from previous FirstBank presidents either retiring or being promoted to C-level positions. The bank recently promoted Kelly Kaminskas from president of retail and digital banking to chief digital officer and Shannon Jones from president of human resources to chief people officer.
