First Bank of Berne donates $1,000 to Junior Achievement

Indiana-based First Bank of Berne donated $1,000 to Junior Achievement of South Adams.

The donation will be used at South Adams to help host Junior Achievement programs in classes. The funds will cover the materials students use. Junior Achievement programs stress the importance of financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. 

First Bank of Berne has supported the community over the years with financial contributions or by providing personnel. “Thousands of hours of time have been donated to community events and area projects by the bank and employees,” the bank stated.
