First Business Bank names chief investment officer

Madison, Wis.-based First Business Bank hired Matt Rice as chief investment officer. 

Rice has more than two decades of experience in financial services. He was first hired by First Business Bank in the late 1990s, and most recently served as managing partner and CIO at $260 billion, Chicago-based investment advisory firm Fiducient Advisors. 

Rice has a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.

His adept leadership and strategic thinking will fortify our capabilities and foster sustained growth.” 

First Business Bank recently promoted Jim Myers to vice president of company retirement plans. He has more than two decades of experience as a company retirement plans adviser and financial adviser. Myers has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. 

“While others are scaling back retirement plan education and services, we’re strengthening our efforts, adding to our educational resources, and ensuring our clients and their employees have the best tools available to them,” Freeman said.
