Fishers, Ind.-based First Internet Bank expanded its small business administration team by hiring Craig Simon as vice president, senior business development officer.
Simon previously worked at Tampa, Fla.-based Pilot Bank and Lake Michigan Credit Union, where he supported SBA lending and commercial relationship management operations.
Simon has a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of South Florida, Tampa.
VP and National Sales Manager Mark Gibson said Simon’s experience “will be instrumental in identifying and developing new business opportunities for our team. His deep understanding of the lending process and ability to clearly explain each step to borrowers will enable him to quickly and efficiently secure capital for our clients.
