First Interstate BancSystem names chief information officer

Billings, Mont.-based First Interstate BancSystem appointed Lori Meyer as chief information officer. 

An executive vice president, Meyer had been serving as interim CIO since the end of June “and has demonstrated exceptional leadership, implementing significant changes and improvements in our IT infrastructure,” said Kevin Riley, president and CEO of the $30.5 billion regional bank. 

Meyer, who has worked at First Interstate Bank since 1997, has served in several leadership positions, most recently director of enterprise planning from 2021-23. She has a bachelor’s degree from Montana State University Billings.
