Beloit, Wis.-based First National Bank and Trust announced several promotions:
- Jessica Hernandez to first vice president, cash management manager. Hernandez, who has 20 years of banking experience, joined FNBT nine years ago as a branch manager. She was named VP, cash management specialist in 2020, and promoted to the department manager in 2022. Hernandez graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
- Susan Starr to vice president, cash management officer. Starr, who joined FNBT two years ago, has 36 years of experience in banking, including treasury/cash management, branch management, consumer and small business lending and business development. She graduated from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.
- Jarod Schut to FVP, trust investment officer. Schut has 15 years of financial services experience, having joined FNBT in 2017. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and double major in finance and economics.
- Spring Almanza to solutions center manager and officer. Almanza joined the $1.5 billion bank in 2016 as a teller and served in numerous roles before being added to the customer support team.
- Mallory Nygren to cash management officer. Nygren joined FNBT in 2019 as a teller, and has since worked in various roles at the bank. She was most recently a cash management specialist.
