First National Bank of Michigan promotes 4 to senior vice president

Kalamazoo-based First National Bank of Michigan promoted Greg Accardo, Patty Barnas, Jennifer Nemecek and Shaunna Padgett to senior vice presidents. 

Accardo joined FNBM as Holland market president in 2016. He has more than three decades of experience and leadership in banking. He graduated from Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Mich., and Leadership Holland.

Barnas joined the bank as market president in Lansing, Mich., in 2017. She has more than four decades of experience in banking, specializing in the health care and nonprofit sectors. She graduated from Spring Arbor University, Spring Arbor, Mich.

Nemecek joined First National Bank of Michigan in 2015 with more than 27 years of industry experience. She leads the treasury management and deposit operations areas of the bank. She has worked in the West Michigan market her entire career assisting commercial and municipal customers with their credit and treasury management needs. She graduated from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo. 

Padgett, the bank’s strategic and operating manager, has worked at FNB since 2010. She began as a personal banker and has been promoted throughout her 11-year career. The Independent Bankers of America named Padgett a 40 Under 40 Emerging Community Bank Leader in 2020, and she was selected as a 2020 Rising Star by The Community Bankers of Michigan. She graduated from Western Michigan University.
