Marshfield, Wis.-based Forward Bank and Insurance donated $10,000 to help American Legion Leach-Paulson Post 517 build a new Veterans Memorial Wall.
The Memorial Wall is intended to provide a visually appealing place for the community to reflect on the services veterans have provided for the country. The wall will honor service members from the Dorchester, Wis., community.
“The Leach-Paulson Post 517 of the American Legion is an important part of our community and continues to remind us of all of the sacrifices our veterans have made to allow us all to live in peace,” said Janet Beyerl, a relationship banker for Forward Bank in Dorchester. “Veterans Memorial Walls not only honor those who have served, they educate us all on service to the country and create a beautiful place for us all to gather. We are proud to be part of this project.”
