Marshfield, Wis.-based Forward Bank committed $50,000 toward construction of a Rib Lake, Wis., band shell.
The facility, which will be at the local Ice Age Park, will reportedly help establish the park as a multi-use community attraction. The performance stage, which is currently being designed, is expected to host music through the summer months. Community groups will have access to the venue for concerts and special events.
The donation is half of the project’s estimated $100,000 cost. “We approached Forward because of their reputation of helping get community projects off the ground,” said Scot Bromann, a spokesperson for local organization Friends of Rib Lake spokesperson.
“Arts and entertainment bring joy to communities and give families a place to go and something to do together,” added Laura Deuso, a relationship banker at Forward Bank in Rib Lake, Wis. “I’m looking forward to seeing this project develop and grow as future enhancements are made to Ice Age Park. Forward loves being part of communities like Rib Lake, and we hope that businesses and individuals support this project any way that they can.”
