Marshfield, Wis.-based Forward Bank donated $100,000 for the construction of a pickleball complex in Braem Park in Marshfield, Wis.
The project is part of a larger revitalization project for the area that now includes frisbee golf. According to the bank, the project will also revitalize tennis and basketball courts that are seeing less use.
“This project is a natural fit for Forward to support,” said Forward Bank CEO Bill Sennholz. “Our building in Marshfield overlooks Braem Park and our employees will have the opportunity to enjoy this new facility. The investment we make in projects like the pickleball courts encourages individuals of all ages to get out, stay active, and enjoy time with families and friends.”
