Forward Bank donates six-figure sum to local nonprofits

Marshfield, Wis.-based Forward Bank donated more than $275,000 to local nonprofits participating in the Charitable Money Market Account program last month and surpassed $2.2 million in giving since the program began.

The Charitable Money Market Account program allows customers to open interest-earning money market accounts while choosing an organization to receive a donation from Forward Bank at the end of a calendar year. More than 400 organizations received donations through the program.

“Our commitment to the well-being of the communities we serve is highlighted by the Charitable Money Market Account,” said Forward Bank nonprofit banker Lindsey Safford. “Our customers enjoy this creative way of supporting their favorite charities, and the organizations receiving the funds appreciate the annual support.”
