Employees of Fargo, N.D.-based Gate City Bank presented a $5,000 donation to Williston, N.D.-based nonprofit ConnectUs Foundation on Feb. 8.
The donation is expected to advance the foundation’s work in advocating for people living with mental health and substance abuse challenges.
“It’s our joy and privilege to serve the wonderful people of Williston, and that includes giving back to local nonprofits that keep our community strong,” said Gate City Bank Vice President Marcus Boykin. “ConnectUs Foundation is a beloved organization that serves an incredible purpose, and we’re truly thankful for the opportunity to support them as they create a better way of life for so many across our region.”
Gate City Bank opened a branch in Williston on Feb. 20 at a Cash Wise Foods location. The branch is the bank’s 45th overall and second in the city.
