Horicon Bank recently opened its flagship branch in a Wauwatosa, Wis.-based outlet mall.
The three-story building houses retail banking operations, business lending offices, conference rooms and executives’ private offices. The bank’s lobby includes touch screen and video technology that connects customers with a live, local banker.
Fred Schwertfeger, CEO of the $1.5 billion bank, said Horicon plans to bring a community banking option to Milwaukee. “To do good for our customers, we want to be forward-thinking and innovative,” Schwertfeger added. “By embracing the latest technology, we believe we can deliver an excellent experience.”
The opening came after Horicon Bank gained three branches following its merger with Grafton, Wis.-based Cornerstone Community Bank. The merger extended Horicon Bank’s footprint to Grafton, Menomonee Falls and Slinger, Wis. Horicon also recently established a Milwaukee-area branch in New Berlin.
