Wilke named new Horicon Bank SVP

Wisconsin community bank Horicon Bank has added Cyrene Wilke as operations officer, senior vice president.

A native of Upper Michigan, Wilke has 27 years of community banking experience. She was previously a senior vice president leading loan, deposit, and digital banking operations and technology teams. 

Wilke is a graduate of both the Graduate School of Banking’s Digital Banking School and the Center for Exceptional Leadership at St. Norbert College. She has been a board member for the Risk Management Association of Wisconsin, participated in a national Fiserv advisory council, and is a member of the Alloy Labs Alliance. 

“I love so many aspects of my work, from developing strategy to leading high performing teams,” Wilke said. “In recent years, I’ve had the opportunity to focus on nurturing an innovative culture and use of technology to improve both the customer and employee experience.”

Horicon Bank President Fred F. Schwertfeger said her “skills are a great asset to our banking team.”
