HTLF President and CEO announces pending retirement

Denver-based HTLF President and CEO Bruce Lee will retire at the end of this year.

Lee also intends to retire from the board of directors. The HTLF board of directors has formed a search committee and will use Chicago-based executive recruiting firm Heidrick & Struggles to search for Lee’s successor.

During the transition, the company will continue executing its strategic plan, which it expects will help better serve customers, improve efficiency, drive revenue growth, spark higher ROA and more efficient use of capital.

“On behalf of the Board, I want to thank Bruce for his significant contributions and dedicated years of service to HTLF,” said HTLF Board Chair John Schmidt. “The board and management team are committed to ensuring a smooth transition and we are grateful that we’ll continue to benefit from Bruce’s leadership during this process.”
