Jennifer Gibson was recognized as the 2023 Indiana Bankers Association Woman of the Year.
Gibson, Indiana region president for Warren, Pa.-based Northwest Bank, was honored Nov. 9 during the IBA’s Banking on Women conference. The annual award recognizes a woman in banking who excels in her role, is active in her community and supports other women in reaching their full potential.
Gibson moved to Muncie, Ind., as Northwest Bank expanded its footprint into the state and was promoted to regional president within two years. She now leads 20 full-service branches throughout the state as well as two production offices.
Gibson graduated from Troy, N.Y.-based Hudson Valley Community College; Lewisburg, Pa.-based Bucknell University PBA Advanced School of Banking; and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
