Iowa bank announces board additions, retirement

Farmers Trust and Savings Bank, Spencer, Iowa, announced the retirement of Bruce Lamport and the election of Kenneth Easter and Michael Bryan to the board of directors.

Lamport retired the bank’s board last March after 35 years of service. David Woodcock, president/CEO of Farmers Trust and Savings Bank, presented Lamport with a plaque and thanked him for his service, leadership, loyalty, guidance and friendship throughout the years.

Easter joins his father on the board of directors. The Easter family has owned Farmers Trust and Savings Bank since 1966. Easter graduated from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, and is involved with supervising the family hardware store business.

Bryan has been with Farmers Banks for almost 24 years and is currently the executive vice president/senior leader. He manages the lending portfolio and staff, along with being involved with the day-to-day management of the bank. Bryan has degrees from Iowa State University, Ames, and the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
