Independent Bank Corp. has hired Kim Martin as senior vice president, director of internal audit.
Martin has 17 years of financial services experience, has a manufacturing background, and is a practicing CPA. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University. “She brings a wealth of knowledge to Independent Bank in the areas of audit, accounting, SEC and bank regulatory reporting, bank mergers/acquisitions, systems implementation, and tax,” the bank stated.
