Neil McDonnell was recently appointed president of Mt. Pleasant, Mich.-based Isabella Bank and appointed to the board of directors of both the bank and its holding company Isabella Bank Corp.
McDonnell was previously the CFO of Isabella Bank Corp. “McDonnell joined Isabella Bank in 2018 with three decades of banking experience,” noted Sarah Opperman, board chair of both Isabella Bank Corp. and Isabella Bank. “His expertise in banking and finance, together with his understanding of our various stakeholders, will serve the board well.”
McDonnell is a member of the Community Bankers of Michigan Board of Directors. “McDonnell’s thoughtful, collaborative and creative style are well suited to his new role as bank president and with the Board,” said President and CEO Jerome Schwind.
