St. Louis, Mo.-based Midwest BankCentre promoted Mitch Bridges to executive vice president-chief credit officer.
Bridges, who previously served as senior vice president of credit and risk management, joined the bank in 2021. Before joining Midwest BankCentre, Bridges was a bank examiner with the Missouri Division of Finance and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
Bridges has a bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University, Springfield, and graduated from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Midwest BankCentre Chair and CEO Orvin Kimbrough said Bridges’ “extensive experience in commercial lending brings great value to his new role. His expertise will be key in expanding our business and strengthening our customer relationships.”
