Fond Du Lac, Wis.-based National Exchange Bank and Trust recently promoted nine employees, including five to vice president positions.
The bank announced March 14 that William Hodgkiss and Steve Holz had been promoted to executive vice president in commercial lending; Gregg Mashack to senior VP and retail lending manager; Sue Freund to VP in loan services; and Amanda Fryman to VP in commercial loan services.
Hodgkiss is working out of the bank’s Fond du Lac office on West Johnson Street. Hodgkiss, who joined First Exchange in 2021 as senior VP in commercial lending, brought with him more than a decade of executive leadership experience in commercial lending and banking. He has served other financial organizations as senior VP, president and CEO. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wis.
Holz is working out of the bank’s downtown De Pere, Wis., office. He joined the bank in 1992 as a credit analyst. Two years later, he shifted to a commercial lending officer role and was promoted multiple times, most recently to senior VP in 2016. Holz has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Ripon College and graduated from the American Bankers Association’s Commercial Lending Graduate School and the Wisconsin Bankers Association Lending School.
Mashack joined National Exchange in 2017 as a VP and retail lending lead, bringing with him more than 18 years of leadership and lending work. He has an associate degree in natural resources from Fox Valley Technical College and a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix. He is on the board of directors for the Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association.
Freund is working out of the bank’s downtown Fond du Lac office. She joined National Exchange Bank & Trust in 2003, and has since held roles as loan services officer and assistant VP in loan services. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and an MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Fryman is working out of the bank’s downtown Fond du Lac office. She joined National Exchange in 2010 as a commercial loan processor and was promoted to assistant VP of loan services in 2018. She has a degree in leadership development from Moraine Park Technical College.
The four other recent National Exchange Bank & Trust promotions include Nicki Hau to talent acquisition officer; Danyel Moyle to credit officer/manager; Karri Oelke to marketing officer; and Teri Wall to personal banking officer/team leader.
