North Shore Bank again giving back through donation program

Brookfield, Wis.-based North Shore Bank is once again leading its Bank on Kindness community give-back program.

The program, now in its second year, supports the local work of Wisconsin nonprofits. The public can donate to the local food pantries of their choice on North Shore Bank’s community-focused website through Feb. 20. Donations will benefit the following food pantries:

  • Milwaukee Christian Center
  • Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee
  • Food Pantry of Waukesha County in Waukesha
  • Grace Welcome Center in Kenosha
  • Racine County Food Bank
  • Family Sharing of Ozaukee County in Grafton
  • Sussex Outreach Services
  • Paul’s Pantry in Green Bay
  • St. Joseph’s Food Program, Inc., in Menasha

Last year, Bank on Kindness raised more than $23,000 for hunger relief organizations in Wisconsin, including $4,500 that was matched by North Shore Bank. The bank matches all donations up to $500 for each nonprofit.

“We were so proud of how our community showed up in the first year of the Bank on Kindness donation program and look forward to seeing how the bank and our communities will come together for another year,” said Susan T. Doyle, senior vice president of retail banking at North Shore Bank. “There are so many nonprofit organizations working hard to serve our Wisconsin communities and this support will help fill the pantry shelves and make sure they can continue to offer these vital services.”
