North Shore Bank collecting coins to benefit cancer research group

Brookfield, Wis.-based North Shore Bank is collecting coins in its annual “Change for a Cure” matching donation initiative to benefit the cancer research organization Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc.

The program lasts until Christmas at Wisconsin North Shore Bank offices.“Throughout the state, anyone who stops at a bank office will be able to count their coins for free and donate a portion or all of the funds to the MACC Fund, which uses the funds to support the Medical College of Wisconsin, Children’s Hospital, University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center and Marshfield Clinic,” the $2.5 billion bank stated.

North Shore Bank hosted its annual “Candy Cane Lane” holiday lights display on Nov. 25 to benefit the MACC Fund. Bank employees were on hand to collect loose change for the drive.
