One Community Bank will award $3K in scholarships this year

Oregon, Wis.-based One Community Bank will award $1,000 scholarships to three graduating high school seniors this year as part of the bank’s annual scholarship program.

Applicants must be a graduating high school senior in good academic standing; have post-graduations plans at a 4-year or 2-year institution; technical or trade school; or an apprenticeship program. Candidates must write and submit an essay that explains their role in making a positive impact in the community; and how the applicant’s post-graduation plans will continue supporting the community.

“One Community Bank is proud to launch the scholarship program again this year,” said President and CEO Steve Peotter. “It’s an honor to create an opportunity that provides assistance in the educational growth of young adults who are dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities.”
