Wausau, Wis.-based Peoples State Bank issued a $25,000 grant to Milwaukee-based De Niz Child Care Center LLC.
The money is part of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s Community First Accelerate Grant to support business growth and small business development in both Wisconsin and Illinois.
The grant is expected to enable a security camera system upgrade, install new windows and doors and purchase new tables.
“De Niz Child Care Center provides critical child-care services to families in Milwaukee,” noted Peoples State Bank Commercial Banking Officer Jose Pimienta, Jr. “It’s great to know the grant will be reinvested into a business that supports Milwaukee and the families who live and work here.”
