Security National Bank hires trust executive

Karrie Hruska was named vice president and senior trust counsel within the wealth management division of Sioux City, Iowa-based Security National Bank

Hruska has practiced private law for 24 years, and is transitioning from a career as a partner at a local law firm. She focused primarily on estate planning, probate, trust administration and general business matters.

A licensed attorney in Iowa, South Dakota and Nebraska, Hruska graduated from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, with a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice, and has a law degree from the University of Iowa.  

The bank also named Hallie Salmen as trust officer within its wealth management division. She has 27 years of financial experience, including as a CFO and CEO at a local business. Salmen, who has held her CPA license for 23 years, has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of South Dakota.
