Security National Bank names ag, community banking executives

Sioux City, Iowa-based Security National Bank named Angie Schrunk senior vice president of agricultural services and John Heller SVP of community banking.

Schrunk’s banking career began in 2005 as a loan admin supervisor at First State Bank of Mapleton, Iowa. A market president for Mapleton, Moville and Lawton since 2011, Schrunk has also managed mortgage lending and business and agricultural services during her 18-year career. 

Schrunk has a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University, Ames. She has completed programs at the Iowa Bankers Association Ag Banking School and Consumer Credit School.

Heller joined Security National Bank in 2012 as president of Orange City, Iowa-based sister charter Northwestern Bank. Northwestern Bank merged into Security National Bank last month under their holding company, Dakota Dunes, S.D.-based Security National Corp. 

A banker with 24 years of experience, Heller has a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University and completed the Graduate School of Banking program in Colorado.
