South Dakota Community Foundation presented Aberdeen, S.D.-based American Bank & Trust for its work in bettering the communities it serves.
The foundation honored the bank with its Hometown Hero award. American Bank & Trust has donated to Huron Community Foundation, Wolsey/Wessington Community Foundation and the Leadership South Dakota Fund.
A nonprofit established in 1987, South Dakota Community Foundation distributed nearly $30 million in grants last year. “American Bank & Trust has supported many local and statewide initiatives benefiting their community, employees and customers,” said South Dakota Community Foundation President & CEO Stephanie Judson. “We are grateful to partner with them and recognize their generosity over the years.”
