Coldwater-based Southern Michigan Bank & Trust appointed John Waldron as Jackson, Mich., market president.
Waldron has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and a minor in accounting from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Mich. He has nearly three decades of commercial banking and leadership experience. Since 2002, he’s worked at County National Bank, Hillsdale, Mich., most recently serving as president and CEO. Prior to that, he served as national bank examiner for the OCC for 10 years.
