State Nebraska Bank & Trust donated $25,000 to the Wayne Area Legacy Fund to kick off its capital campaign.
An affiliate of the Nebraska Community Foundation, Wayne Area Legacy Fund includes an endowment to support and strengthen local nonprofits.
The fund has donated more than $50,000 to local organizations since it was founded five years ago, including to the Wayne Kids Club After School Program, Majestic Theatre and Greenwood Cemetery.
Through its campaign, the Wayne Area Legacy Fund hopes to raise $100,000.
