Stearns Bank donates $275,000 for renovations at local senior living facility

St. Cloud, Minn.-based Stearns Bank N.A. has committed $275,000 to support renovations at Mother of Mercy Senior Living. 

The donation is expected to be used to help fund ongoing updates to the assisted living apartments and main campus, including an updated lobby with new, handicapped-accessible bathrooms. The renovation also includes updates to common areas, including a renovated family gathering area, new deck, expanded public bathrooms and other work. 

Albany, Minn.-based Mother of Mercy, which opened in 1959, serves approximately 200 seniors in the Stearns County region. “This generous gift from Stearns Bank will make a tremendous impact on the lives of the residents and tenants who live on our campus,” said Mother of Mercy Foundation Executive Director Renee Anderson. “We are honored to receive this donation and are grateful for the support from Stearns Bank to carry on our mission of providing the best quality of life possible to those entrusted to our care.”
