Peggy Stebbins has been hired by Ixonia Bank in Wisconsin as chief financial officer.
Previously, she was chief accounting officer and controller at First Business Financial Services, Madison, wis., and as controller at Anchor Bank (now part of Old National Bank, Evansville, Ind.) and Guaranty Bank, Glendale, Wis. Before that, she was a senior accountant specializing in the audits of financial institutions at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, an advisory, tax and assurance firm.
“Peggy’s deep banking experience across all critical financial functions will be a tremendous asset to Ixonia Bank. She has also demonstrated a collaborative leadership approach that will be a strong cultural fit for our customers, employees and the communities we serve,” said Dan Westrope, chair and CEO of the Ixonia, Wis., bank.
Stebbins has a Master’s in Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
