Michigan-based Sturgis Bank promoted Kim Dwyer to vice president, head of retail lending.

Dwyer joined the $782 million bank in June 2021 as vice president, mortgage lender, and has been a local banker for more than 25 years. She has certifications in leadership, underwriting and quality control, and the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008.

“Before [Dwyer]  joined our team last year, I had known her for 25 years and was impressed with the way she took care of her clients,” said CEO Jason Hyska. “She has a wealth of knowledge and will treat our customers the way we believe community bank clients should be treated, through personal interactions and excellent service.”

“I am excited about this opportunity,” Dwyer added. “I look forward to leading our great team of mortgage lenders and helping our customers realize their dreams.”
