The State Bank announces wealth management promotion

Fenton, Mich.-based The State Bank promoted Thomas Hufton II to senior vice president and chief trust and wealth management officer.

Hufton is entering his 30th year with the $1.74 billion bank, primarily in trust and wealth management. An American Bankers Association Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor, Hufton graduated from the Robert M. Perry School of Banking at Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, the Southeastern Trust School at Campbell University, Bules Creek, NC, and The Cannon Trust School at Notre Dame University.
